Meet Our NYC Criminal Defense Attorneys
Daniel A. Hochheiser, Principal Attorney
Daniel A. Hochheiser, a former prosecutor, is the principal attorney of
the Law Offices of Daniel A. Hochheiser. He is a 1996 graduate of Yeshiva
University's Cardozo School of Law. After law school, Mr. Hochheiser
served as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County from 1996 to
1999, where he tried many cases in Criminal and Supreme Courts, including
felony narcotics cases. Mr. Hochheiser left the District Attorney's
Office to join the law firm of Lester Schwab Katz & Dwyer, where he
concentrated on the defense of cases involving personal injuries resulting
from accidents. He left Lester Schwab to join his father's criminal
defense practice, ultimately resulting in the birth of the Law Offices
of Daniel A. Hochheiser.

Lawrence Hochheiser, Of Counsel
Lawrence Hochheiser is the Of Counsel at the Law Offices of Daniel A.
Hochheiser. He graduated from NYU Law School in 1966, where he was a member
of the Law Review. Mr. Hochheiser served as Assistant District Attorney
in New York County from 1967 to 1971, specializing in the investigation
and prosecution of organized crime cases in the office's famed Rackets
Bureau. Mr. Hochheiser is the former President of the New York Criminal
Bar Association, a former co-chair of the American Bar Association's
Defense Function Committee, a life member of the National Association
of Criminal Defense Lawyers and a member of the New York State Association
of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
